COLLEGE LIBRARY

The Central Library of Gopalpur College has been as old as the year of establishment of the college 1978. The Library has its own reading room facility and digital library section. It contains 13132 Both Journal, Text and Referance Books. It has section of rare books, new arrival sections, staff publication section, question books and a separate section named remedial library. The Student can issue at best three books for their home reading for a fortnight. The circulation of books has been given priority for benefit of multi user. The Library can issue one book a day to student for library reading. The Students can borrow books according to following schedule.

1. Monday - +3 3rd Year Arts
2. Tuesday - +3 2nd Year Science & Commerce
3. Wednesday - +3 1st Year Arts
4. Thurseday - +3 3rd Year Science and Commerce
5. Friday - +3 2nd Year Arts
6. Saturday - +3 1st Year Science and Commerce

LIBRARY RULES

1. The Students are Requried to Fill-up borrower slip in all respect and submit the same to the librarian between 10am to 1 pm.
2. They can be issued books from 1pm to 4pm.
3. The Students are required to handle the library books with utmost care.
4. In case of loss, damage or any disfigure done to the library books, fine of maximum 3 times cost of book will be levied upon the students doing damage to the library books.
5. Students are to maintain absolute silent while sitting in the reading room.
6. Use of Mobile Phone and Gossip with each other is strictly prohibited.
7. The Student who has been issued books for library reading shall be allowed to sit in the reading room.
