OUR MOTTO

TAMASO MAA JYOTIRGAMAY

The motto of the college has been better inscribed in its coat of Arms. It sticks to the vision of the Vedic thought; ‘Tamaso maa jyotirgamay’: ‘Let kindle light amidst encircling gloom’. It invokes the power of truth, non-violence, knowledge, scientific search, divine guidance and solace for attaining final wisdom. It strives to achieve its goal through various streams of Knowledge Art, Craft, Humanities, Management, Science, Technology and Commerce. It cherishes goal for attempts in morals to discover the truth, desiring to learn, devote to study and to determine for ultimate enrichment of mind, soul and spirit. Broadly, its motto is classified in the hymns.
